The 1.5ha Stanley Point site on Auckland Harbour – owned by one of New Zealand’s wealthiest families – needed to be professional and precise.
We’re in the middle of installing 600 metres of fencing across this massive, undulating site. To get the lines right, we set break points, so the line of the fence flows with the land contours and stays within the height range of 1.2–1.8 metres.
Josh Langford marked out all the posts personally and stops by the site each day to make sure everything is being installed accurately and efficiently. We double and triple check slopes and post spacings, so the powder coated aluminium panels slot right in. For panel symmetry, we use panels of the same length and then cut them on site to fit. It’s more labour-intensive, but a project like this calls for that type of precision.
