With ten gates to build and aesthetics the key, we face-welded the slats for the cleanest look.
The carpark configuration meant there wasn’t enough height for a garage door nor enough width for traditional sliding gates. We’ve designed a solution within the space restrictions to enhance the architectural style and quality.
Each 6-metre-wide garage opening required 3 x 2-metre-wide leaves, triple stacked. To keep the look clean and minimal, we’ve face-welded the aluminium slats on the front of the frame to conceal it, so all you see from the front are horizontal slats made of powder coated aluminium. They make an excellent alternative to a garage door for both aesthetics and security.
Triple gates are rare, so nothing is off-the-shelf for this project. We’re using specially imported components, liaising closely with the electrician and access automation, and making regular site visits to ensure the job goes smoothly.
