These sliding gates were designed to complement a new house by Studio John Irving Architects and provide a small space solution. The owner was looking for a low-maintenance option with a classic look. To resemble wooden pickets, we detailed vertical aluminium sections powder-coated in a white textured finish. Driven by an Italian motor and telescopic hardware kit customised to create a clean finish, the two sliding gates cover 8.5 metres when fully closed, yet stack to fit in a compact space when open.
